Jon Meehan, MSSW, LICSW Interim Clinical Director Jon holds a master of science in social work degree from the University of Texas at
Austin, and a bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College. He joined the MCLA community in 2004. He worked for many years as a psychiatric social worker in both inpatient and primary
medical care settings at Berkshire Medical Center. Earlier, he worked at Child & Family Services in Easthampton, MA; JRI Health in Boston,
which specialized in health and mental health care for LGBTQ+ and HIV+ young adults;
and a transitional housing program with homeless 18-21 year-olds in Somerville, MA. Professionally, Jon is interested in the overlap of health and mental health, grief
and loss, effects of oppression and stigma, harm reduction strategies, and managing
depression. He tries to employ an individualized, strengths-based approach and promotes building
self-awareness and mindfulness. Personally, he tries to meditate and likes to grow
vegetables, read and learn, and spend time outdoors with his family, partner, and
dog.

Roxanne Morton-Fili, MSW Counselor Roxanne holds a master’s degree in social work from Westfield State University, a
bachelor’s degree in social work from the College of Our Lady of the Elms, and an
associate’s degree in health science from Berkshire Community College. Before joining
the MCLA community in 2017, Roxanne worked at Clinical & Support Options in Pittsfield
as an outpatient therapist, in-home therapist, and community support worker. She also
worked at BFAIR, a non-profit organization serving people with developmental disabilities,
autism, and traumatic brain injury, and at Valleyhead School, a residential school
for girls with learning and emotional difficulties. On a personal note, Roxanne enjoys
watching plays, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family, including her
children, grandchildren, and dogs.

Claire Cabiles, MSW, LICSW Counselor Claire holds a master's degree in social work from the State University of New York
at Albany and a bachelor's degree in sociology from the City College of New York.
Before joining MCLA Counseling Services, Claire worked for the Brien Center in Great
Barrington for more than 17 years. She worked as a Home-School Liaison in Bennington
Elementary School in Vermont and has a private practice at Greylock Mental Health
in downtown North Adams. Claire's professional interests include mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral
treatment. On a personal note, she enjoys outdoor activities, gardening and spending
time with her family.
