Hi! I'm Corin and I use he/him or they/them pronouns. I'm a senior majoring in English
with a concentration in literature. I love to read and write, and I'm a big fan of
any "cozy"-type game! This is my third year in the Writing Studio, and I'm looking
forward to collaborating with you.
Alison Blakeslee
Hi Friends! My name is Alison Blakeslee. I use she/her or they/them pronouns. I’m
a senior studying Arts Management and Creative Writing. I also work as a RASM. I identify
as a romantic, a poet, and as a person with a deep love for the arts. I am so excited
to collaborate with my incredible peers in the Writing Studio this year!
Eric Dupont
Hi all, my name's Eric DuPont (He/Him). I am double majoring in Chemistry and Environmental
Studies with a concentration in environmental science. I enjoy cherishing the beauty
of the natural world, reading nonfiction (Although I am a sucker for Ursula Le Guin's
work), and searching for new things to spark my curiosity. I can't wait to see the
progress we can make together growing as writers.
Eleanor Gubbins
Hello! My name is Eleanor (Ellie) and I use she/her pronouns. I am a senior English major with a concentration in writing and a double minor in business administration and leadership. Other than being a Writing Associate, I am a TA, and overnight RASM. I am thrilled to be working in the Writing Studio. I love working with people and helping others understand assignments and thrive within the MCLA community.
Jaden Jackson
Hi Y’all! My name is Jaden and I use he/they pronouns. I am a sophomore studying English and Communications, concentrating in creative writing and journalism. My other roles on campus include Admissions Ambassador, Peer Mentor, Staff Writer, and Social Media Manager for the Beacon. I enjoy pop culture, listening to podcasts, and cooking for my friends. I’m so excited to work with you!
Matthew Lewellyn
Howdy! My name is Matt Lewellyn. I use he/him pronouns and have the personality of
a golden retriever (but it's okay if you don't like dogs)! I am an English major with
a philosophy minor and am so happy to be working in the writing studio. I am the president
of the MCLA Poetry Club and have an especially restless love for Fiction and Poetry.
I can't wait to help you with your writing endeavors, be they creative or academic!
Andie Schafer
Hi, my name is Andreas! I use he/him pronouns, and I am a Political Science and History double major with a minor in Sociology. I am involved in the Queer Student Union and I am the President of the Trans Affinity Group, a support network for trans students on campus, and another big passion of mine is music. I’m very excited to be a tutor at the Writing Center this year because I’m a huge extrovert and I love exchanging ideas and learning by working with others - I’ll be learning from you just as you’ll be learning from me! I’ve always been very passionate about writing and I’m looking forward to be able to share that interest with everyone.
Casey Vieira
Hello! I am Casey and I use they/them pronouns. I am a sophomore majoring in English with a concentration in writing. I am also vice president and co-founder of MCLA’s poetry club! Outside of academics, I love creative writing (particularly poetry, short stories, and plays), reading, collecting and cataloging physical music, and exploring nature. I'm excited to see you in the writing studio! :)
