Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS)

Applicants must have completed MCLA's Leadership Academy.

Overview

MCLA's Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Administration is a post-master's level certificate for professionals who are interested in a career as principal, superintendent, or other leadership roles in education and have completed MCLA's Leadership Academy. The nine (9) hours of CAGS credit can also be transferred into Texas A&M’s doctoral program in Educational Leadership.

CAGS candidates will choose a topic to explore and then work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and professors.

A Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) is the equivalent of a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) as designated in other states such as New York.
