Activities and Organizations

Get Involved!

Yes, there’s someone here who shares your interests. And yes—there are plenty of people here who can help you become the leader you are meant to be.

If you’re like most MCLA students, you’ll want to be involved in multiple clubs and activities. We have over 50—and if you don’t see anything that suits you, it’s easy to start your own.

Womens Center

The Gender & Sexuality Center or GSC serves as a safe space for queer and women students to cultivate community, learn, and grow together. Our programs foster growth, community building, advocacy, empowerment, and so much more. Our spaces also include a variety of resources, including the Gender & Sexuality Library, a variety of informational resources, the Affirmation Closet, and mentorship, work study, and internship opportunities.

An important part of orientation: MCLA students and alumni! Orientation leaders help run this summer program and are an excellent resource for new students. Bonus: You get to live in the Berkshires all summer.

Club Spotlight: Model UN

Do high-pressure scenarios get your adrenaline pumping? Do you often read political news and then ponder what you would do if you had been in the same situation? Are you interested in time travel—past, present, or both?

If so, you’re in luck—thanks to the hard work of MCLA students, there’s now a Model UN club on campus.
