MCLA’s Marketing & Brand Team steers the MCLA brand story and narrative. Our in-house
agency utilizes creativity, content, data, and strategy to ensure that MCLA is recognizable
to everyone across our life cycle and beyond. Our stories are shared continuously
across digital and print landscapes in Berkshire County, throughout Massachusetts,
and worldwide.
Our responsibility is to develop MCLA’s positioning, brand narrative, and key messages
for various constituents. We focus our efforts on these key areas.
The Marketing & Brand Team partners across campus to ensure all communications align with MCLA’s mission and priorities. We do this by elevating the MCLA brand and making sure your project supports both your goals and those of the college.
Kristin Nichols, B.A. ‘01, leads the Marketing & Brand Team with strategic oversight, content direction, and digital expertise. With a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, her skills in market research, brand development, digital strategies, and enrollment marketing have made a lasting impact on the industry. As a strategist and leader, she continues to shape the landscape of higher education marketing by contributing as a thought leader.
Jasmine Gancarz, MBA '23, has nearly a decade of experience in higher education. Her expertise includes project management, marketing communication plan development, and leading cross-departmental collaborations. She brings strong social media and graphic design skills to every initiative she leads.
Keith Hough collaborates closely with both internal and external teams to develop dynamic, accessible web pages, emails, and digital projects. He has over a decade of experience in marketing and promotions, along with more than seven years in higher education web development. His North Star is to create digital experiences that are accessible, intuitive, and inclusive—always putting people first.

Have something you’re working on that could use our support? If we can help, we gladly will. If we can’t, we will offer strategic oversight and recommend trusted vendors who can. Project requests are reviewed every Thursday, so please submit yours on Wednesday before the close of business. You’ll be added to the queue and will hear back from us as soon as we are ready to start the project. Every project is unique, so be sure to check the minimum lead times before submitting.
