Minor in Outdoor Leadership

Embrace the booming outdoor recreation economy! From mountain biking and whitewater rafting to downhill and cross-country skiing, zip-lining adventures, and dynamic youth environmental programs, learn the skills, knowledge, and techniques required to guide and manage outdoor activities and adventures effectively and safely.

Outdoor leadership Minor

The Outdoor Leadership Minor develops the capacity of students to plan group excursions and become familiar with the ecology and history of natural habitats to maximize their effectiveness as naturalist interpreters. Three internship credits focused on outdoor leadership provide a capstone experience for this minor.
