MCLA’s Green Living Seminar Series Begins February 1

MCLA’s annual Green Living Seminar Series begins on Wednesday, Feb. 1, and continues through April, presenting a series of lectures on the theme of “Capitalism and the Environment.”  

Every semester, the Green Living Seminar Series centers around a different topic, timely and relevant to current sustainability issues. The series is free and open to the public, with seminars on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. from Feb. 1 to April 19 in the Feigenbaum Center for Science & Innovation room 121. Community members can find up-to-date information about the schedule at mcla.edu/greenliving

Tom Wessels, Professor Emeritus at Antioch University New England, kicks off the series on Feb. 1 with a talk titled “The Myth of Progress.”
