MCLA is home to the Berkshire Hills Internship Program in arts management. The program includes students from MCLA along with undergraduate and graduate students from across the globe. Students can also participate in internships around the world.

Students in the Fine and Performing Arts Program have an opportunity to be placed in high-caliber arts organizations throughout Berkshire County, an area known for its world-class creative institutions.

Learning Outcomes of the Fine and Performing Arts Program

Upon completion of the Fine and Performing Arts Program, graduates will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a broad-based understanding of the studio and historical/theoretical aspects of the Fine and Performing Arts.
  • Demonstrate expertise in a chosen concentration of Art, Art Management, Music or Theatre.
  • Demonstrate practical experience in public performance or exhibition in the arts.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the economic dimensions of the arts.
