Feb. 11, 2019
WHAT: Due to concerns regarding impending inclement weather, MCLA has rescheduled
its grand opening and ribbon-cutting event in celebration of its new location for
the College’s new Division of Graduate and Continuing Education, its partnership with
1Berkshire, and the campus’s commitment of offering courses in Pittsfield. This event
previously was slated for Tuesday, Feb. 12.
The event is free and open to the public. Those who attend are invited to enjoy light
fare and drinks.
WHEN: Tuesday, March 12, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
WHERE: 66 Allen St., Pittsfield
WHO: MCLA President James F. Birge, Ph.D., MCLA faculty members, students, and special
guests will attend this event.
MCLA made renovations to its space in the facility – which is owned and operated by
1Berkshire – throughout the fall semester. The College now shares the first floor
of the building with MassHire, which will allow MCLA to offer classes during days
and evenings, as well as on weekends. MCLA-Pittsfield features include well-equipped
classrooms, a student lounge, a computer lab, and ample parking.
